With over two decades of experience in the IT and Cybersecurity field, I’m Stéphane Benoit — a recognized expert in cyber defense, threat response, and offensive security. From the early days of troubleshooting networks to leading high-performance Security Operations Center (SOC) teams, I’ve dedicated my career to protecting critical systems and infrastructure in Canada’s most demanding environments.

I served as a SOC Team Lead at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), I oversaw round-the-clock Cybersecurity operations, lead threat hunting initiatives, and ensured strategic incident response across national systems. I’ve built SOC teams from the ground up, mentored junior analysts into security pros, and established standardized procedures for vulnerability assessments and risk mitigation.

Whether simulating real-world cyberattacks as a Penetration Testing Technical Lead or guiding strategic decisions in large-scale incident response exercises like Cyber Storm, my focus is always on safeguarding organizations against evolving digital threats.
